From primitive methods like the hand drill to more modern methods like the Rudiger roll, this program explores the materials and techniques necessary to convert friction to flame.  Shawn Dailey will demonstrate multiple friction fire methods using a variety of local materials, followed by a workshop where participants can learn firsthand.  Meet at the picnic pavilion at the BFEC.
