Levering Park was formed in 1996 and is truly a "community park". Besides 4 ball fields used by District youth it also serves as the Fredericktown High School Baseball and Softball Fields. The 22 acre park is truly used year round by all the residents of the Park District and the students of the Fredericktown School system. You can see school physical education classes in the spring and fall, 4H clubs shooting rockets, residents walking, football practice and people flying kites. This park was built mainly by volunteers and is truly a reflection of what Fredericktown can do through community cooperation.
